Jott has been the greatest thing since sliced bread!!! I put it on the Net@night del.icio.us tags, and kept waiting to hear about it, but glad you joined up! Did you know you can do it with groups and others as well as yourself? man I love it!
I hope they do although in a way Jaiku is a competitor to them in that they're both gunning for collaborative online community aggregation over mobile phones. Fidgt does seem a little buggy though as an early release.
The more I think of it Facebook must hold some heavy trump cards here.
For non-webheads alot of this online community, rss presence stuff is a little over their heads but Facebook sidesteps that in that it's interface is very much a gradual tutorial for Web 2.0 muggles.
And for new apps like Jaiku gaining access to Facebook's user base must be as big as gaining angel investments. Or at least an essential pre-cursor to doing so.

Jott looks cool but don't think it'll be practical financially using it here in the UK.
