funny thing-I consider room service a major treat when I am away-but I do not goaway NEARLY as much as you do Leo. The dull and mundane for you is the exciting and rarefied foir me etc. Isn't life just wonderful?:) BTW, today was my first time in 13 weeks without crutches or other assistance-I am breaking in a new artificial ankle-feels good to walk again:)
You know, I don't think I have once in my life had room service. The closest was one time when it was raining and the poolside cafe said they'd bring the food up to my room so I didn't have to wait around in the rain for the order to be cooked.
Room service looks like a great option but always makes my wallet cry just thinking about it.
When I travel I make sure I've got a good supply of netcasts to take with me. I'm also more of an occasional traveler these days - so moments like that are more of a rare treat.
