I think by going as far as she did, Hillary legitimized the idea of a woman running for President. Even if she didn't win the nomination, she put a marker in the sand that other women, and she herself, can build on the next time.

i don't think there was a glass ceiling. Obama and Clinton were VERY different candidates.
