If you get in line now, there won't be a line [or much of one] at 6PM. If you don't get in line, it will be huge at 6PM. At least that's always my experience with things like this.
it's still early,Leo. I just left the Chestnut Hill Mall in Boston, Ma. there were 200+ people waiting outside the Apple store. The Apple store closes at 2PM and re-opens at 6PM. I will be there at 6PM, hoping and praying. I'm now watching Shooby on Justin.tv.
You should have special privileges and get yours before the crowd. Take pictures of the people waiting in line. Curious, a small town where I live has AT&T in a small both at the mall. Would they get IPhones also?
I'm going to cruise down to the Providence Apple Store in the mall at lunch and see how the lines are. There's an AT&T store on the third floor, so its like two-stop shopping.
WGN Chicago (directv 307) shows a line out side Apple downtown, but I didn't have a line here last night. Maybe I'll just take a ride at 5:45 to my AT&T store and start a line.
Actually I have both the Sony reader and my iPod (with Jeff Hawkins On Intelligence On It). No paper in sight. I'm getting scared though so I'm off to check the line.
