And judging by this mornings paper the best way for me to show my patriotism is by purchasing a mattress.

"Happy fourth "my American friends, but can you free us from high prices too! ( Canada) Just check out the prices of electronic goods here if you get a chance.. Leo will tell ya. It's ridiculous. Even with the strengthened canuck buck.

@seagoon, you and your wife have to come back to southern Illinois for a visit.

@sheryl as computerwheelie noted my wife and I should visit s. Illinois to see the relations and stock up on electronics while were there. I think we might get there for a visit next year wheelie.

That would be awesome....I would love to have you and your wife to stop by. We would take you out to dinner. Have you ever been to Giant City State Park? They have a big lodge and serve dinner there. That would be soooooo cool. You could go to Best Buy and stock up on electronics. http://www.flickr.com/photos/computerwheelie/674583516/ The link here shows the front lobby of the lodge.

Really? Today is Steve Job's birthday?

"The day we celebrate our Independence from high prices."

Tell that to the gas station down the street please. It's still over $3 a gallon

Oh well... Not like I get to watch fireworks tonight... The news still has to get on the air and someone has to direct it!

P.S. To our Canadian, Australian, and British friends... Do you guys still have a 4th of July? ;)

"The day we celebrate our Independence from high prices." And if my parents' party is any indication, our sobriety. 50 some alcoholic beverages for 30+ adults. We're going to have a looooot of cars parked overnight.

Anywho, I hope everyone has a fun and safe 4th.

Now to find my Captain America tshirt...

Sure, they have 4th of July in the UK. It comes between July 3 and July 5. Some call it "Good Riddance Day." :)
