Me too. I keep these sites in a folder named "First Things" in my Firefox Bookmarks Toolbar: Google Homepage, Yahoo! Mail, Facebook, Twitter, Jaiku. I haven't figured out Pownce yet, though.
Every morning (or when I come home from an morning work day) my routine is as follows: Pop open Firefox, and open Gmail, Google Reader, Facebook, and Jaiku in tabs.

I do exactly the same thing. Pownce, Twitter and Jaiku. Question for all of you there: is there any tool that can synch all three between them?
