Using the T-Mobile Hotspot at the airports with the iPhone. Works great.

Shame that there's no wi-fi service on most commercial flights.

T-mo hotspots are usually pretty good. Tmo service outside the US is also usually pretty good. Tmo service here in South Florida isn't bad, at least they added towers in the west as I used to lose service every time I drove on the turnpike. All that being said - I"m not trading them for ATTCingularBellsouth

The thing i wonder, why does ATT allow users with unlimited wireless use there own ATT wifi for free, even in the small areas they are in. But T-Mobile out of the US is great, i remember being in Köln, Germany and the laundry mat i was at was a T-Mobile Hot Spot! I just thought how cool, and this was 3 years back.

I've used Tmo across Europe and I was very hard pressed not to either have a signal from them, or from a roaming partner even miles out in the North Sea. In New Zealand, the only place I coudln't get a signal was out at Milford Sound - everywhere else, four or five bars. Unreal. My coworkers tell sob stories about not being able to get cell service from their providers inside their own apartments.
