Loading up the iPhone for my trip to Vancouver. 10 TV shows, seven books, 34 podcasts, 20 albums, and a bunch of Pzizz naps. Should hold me.

Be careful using data up there - roaming makes your unlimited data VERY limited (if you use something like 5 megs of data on roaming AT&T gets angry...)
I realize I don't know you personally, but between your time taping shows, heading out to eat with colleagues, and just being plain worn out after your 15 hour days, I would say it should hold you and then some, if you still have the energy to watch or listen to it all:)
Last time I roamed in Vancouver with AT&T my auto SMS Updates alone cost me $200 US (on Blackberry). Of course the reality of the roaming pain wasn't evident until two months later when all the final fees trickled-in.
I simply can't understand why AT&T is prohibiting longer periods of roaming and the like. Don't they get paid a metric ass-load of money for every international roaming talk minute and every roaming kilobyte? Over here in europe a cell phone provider would kiss the ground you walk on when you'd be roaming for a few months :)
The roaming in canada will cost 2 cents per kilobyte... that is, a typical single web page hit will cost you $5 to $15. AT&T doesn't care how much you roam, as long as you pay for it. As I did in Australia, I'll be putting my iPhone into Airplane Mode the entire time I'm Canada. It's just not worth the risk of accidentally invoking EDGE, even if I only wanted to use the WiFi. (And no, there's no mode that's wifi but not edge. Sucks.)

If I had to choose, I'd catch up on the Pzizz naps first
